This booklet, created with SPRATON Rare Disease Reference Centre team, aims to support parents in the care of their child with a Pierre Robin sequence (PRS). PRS is associated in particular with retrognathism (recessed chin), glossoptosis (tongue tilted backwards) and often a posterior cleft palate, leading to breathing difficulties as well as problems with sucking and swallowing. This booklet provides parents with information and advice at every stage of their child’s treatment.
